Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in Southwest England, are looking for an experienced Repairs Coordinator to join their team and play a crucial role in their repairs planning operations.    

Position: Repairs Coordinator
Rate: £18 per hour (Umbrella, Outside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (December 2025) with Possible Extension  

Purpose:

• Responsible for scheduling repairs and tasks to colleagues out on site including allocating repairs and ensuring tenants/stakeholders are kept informed of any delays or changes to repair appointments and rearranging as necessary.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Receive and respond to customer/stakeholder enquiries, in line with council policies and procedures always providing excellent customer service.
• To accurately raise reported repairs and prioritise in line with agreed timescales, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
• Pro-actively monitor the progression of allocated jobs throughout the day and communicating with operatives, surveyors, and customers to ensure the timely completion of works.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Repairs Coordinator role or equivalent.
• Qualification in GCSE Math’s and English or equivalent qualification or experience that demonstrates ability within these areas.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
