Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in East London, are looking for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their team and play a crucial role in their surveying operations.    

Position: Asbestos Surveyor
Rate: £24.29 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (3 Months) with Possible Extension  

Job Responsibilities: 

• Conducting regular inspections of known asbestos-containing materials across council properties.
• Reviewing asbestos reports, updating registers and plans, and ensuring accurate documentation of remedial works.
• Liaising with internal teams, customers, and asbestos contractors to ensure smooth and compliant service delivery.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Asbestos Surveyor role or equivalent.
• Qualified asbestos surveyor for at least 12 months.
• Experience undertaking asbestos surveys to both domestic and commercial premises.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
