• PAY RATE: £54,129 - £59,328 Annual Salary

JOB SUMMARY
The Independent Reviewing officer will be responsible to plan and ensure service delivery within a complex / diverse service area. Control operational activities within the service area and ensure professional standards are delivered.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:  

• To lead, plan, develop and deliver an expert professional service within the Quality Assurance Service.
• To support the development, management and delivery of an independent reviewing service to children looked after and their families.
• To build and maintain relationships with key partners to improve outcomes for children.
• To ensure the Council maximises service outcomes in relation to cost.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Recognised professional Social Work qualification (Degree/Masters/Post Graduate Diploma/Social Work fast track qualifying programme)
• Current Social Work England registration
• Must have previous IRO experience 
• CQSW, DIPSW, CSS
• Accreditation as Social Work Practice Educator or Assessor
