Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Housing Association in Dorset, are looking for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join their team and play a crucial role in their finance operations.      

Position: Senior Management Accountant
Salary: £51,935 per annum 
Contract: Permanent 

Purpose:

• To provide the best financial information and support for the Housing Association. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• You should know what is required in pulling together a set of management accounts and know by experience that whatever you don’t understand you can learn quickly.
• You should take pride in preparing the best financial information and be brave enough to challenge the status quo.
• You will be a key member of the team which has responsibility for the financial reporting of a company, group of companies, or one of Aster’s divisions, including, but not limited to.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Senior Management Accountant role or equivalent.
• Relevant degree education or AAT level three or above would be an advantage.
• Qualified member of a recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) is desirable.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
