Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Wandsworth. Are looking for a Service Acquisition Officer to join their organisation.

Job Role: Service Acquisition Officer
Temporary or Permanent: Temp
Possible End Date: 3 months (possible extension)  
Number of Positions: 1 position
Location: Wandsworth  
Office Based/Hybrid: TBC
DBS Required: Enhanced DBS required  
Rate of Pay: £27.86 p/h umbrella inside IR35
Pay Negotiable: Possibly

Key Responsibilities:

• To manage and identify the most appropriate social care provider by working in accordance with commissioning and contractual requirements
• To negotiate the cost of straightforward packages of care and placements, to demonstrate best value. For example, obtaining three quotes from providers and effective use of dynamic purchasing systems, to deliver best value for money.
• To promote equality, diversity, and inclusion, maintaining an awareness of the equality and diversity protocol/policy and working to create and maintain a safe, supportive and welcoming environment where all people are treated with dignity and their identity and culture are valued and respected.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of two years’ relevant experience as a Service Acquisition Officer or equivalent.
• Continuously seeking better value for money and improved outcomes at lower cost
• Ability to use I.T applications as part of day-to-day role (e.g. Microsoft
  applications, Mosaic etc)
