Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Housing Association in Basildon, are looking for an experienced Homeownership Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their leasehold management operations.      

Position: Homeownership Officer
Pay Rate: £21 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35) 
Contract: Temporary (October 2025) with Possible Extension 

Purpose:

• To deliver a high quality leasehold management service that meets the identified needs of customers in accordance with individual leases in line with Sanctuary Housing Services’ business plan.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Meet all legislative and regulatory requirements for housing/leasehold management activities, ensuring the provision of quality and safe homes for Sanctuary Housing Services' current and future customers and to minimise potential risks. 
• Deliver a high quality leasehold management service that meets the needs and expectations of current and future residents and the wider community in line with Sanctuary Housing Services' business plan.
• Develop, build and maintain relationships with current and future customers and other key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective management of housing management services, identifying any shortfalls in service delivery and ensure these are acted upon.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Homeownership Officer role or equivalent.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
