Job Role: Damp Project Support Officer
Temporary or Permanent: Temp
Possible End Date: Until November 2025 (Possible Extension)
Rate of Pay: £22.76 p/h umbrella inside IR35
Location: Greenwich
Office Based/Hybrid: Fully office based
Short Brief/Requirement:
To be responsible to: Head of Repairs, Damp Lead, Occupied Repairs Managers, Project Manager for the provision of robust Damp related works/projects and administrative support to key staff to ensure excellent service to customers and the smooth running of the service to prevent any impact on the delivery and completion of Damp works/projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• To act as damp and mould liaison and work directly with residents to undertake coordination of works on larger damp projects (for example arrange storage of items, be the main contact, working closely with surveyors and tenants who may be very distressed or reluctant to allow works progression and to provide assurance, to ensure quick and smooth completion)
• To coordinate and work closely with all teams within R&I & other departments to act as the main coordinator for existing and proposed projects to avoid duplication and take forward required actions relating to damp & mould
• Coordinating and management of existing works orders to ensure existing backlog, new jobs are undertaken in a timely manner with continual updates to all stakeholders (tenants, surveyors, managers, complaints etc).
• To support and assist with the management of departmental or section email boxes, calendars and process, record and respond to emails as required
• To assist with the collection of technical data and performance indicators from staff, contractors, other departments, stakeholders, consultants, residents and provide contract administration support ensuring that records are accurate and up-to-date.
• To contribute to the delivery of Strategic Asset Management Services which includes inputting data and supporting with reports for budgets

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of two years’ relevant experience as a Damp Project Support Officer or equivalent.
• Experience of working collaboratively and in consultation with different teams to deliver excellent customer services.
• Experience of working with residents and a range of stakeholders including local councillors in a politicised environment
