• PAY RATE: $75,000 - $95,000 Per Annum

JOB ROLE

For our client's bankruptcy department, we are looking for an attorney who is admitted to practice in Georgia's state and federal courts.

In this position, the attorney will supervise and work with support personnel to create and evaluate all bankruptcy-related paperwork. Managing every facet of the bankruptcy process, such as plan confirmation, requests for relief, contested matters, adversary processes, and associated legal proceedings, is one of the responsibilities.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Represent creditors during the bankruptcy process.
• Examine pleadings, notices, letters, and other legal papers as required by statute.
• Effectively prepare and address written questions or disagreements.
• Participate in and present arguments during Georgia court hearings and motions.
• Take part in mediation sessions.
• Give clients legal advice during the bankruptcy procedure.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• J.D. (juris doctor) degree.
• CM/ECF filing qualifications for admission to the Georgia bar (State, Federal, and Bankruptcy courts).
• Two years or more of experience defending creditors in bankruptcy or insolvency cases.
• Solid understanding of issues pertaining to secured creditors.
