Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in West London, are looking for an experienced Home Buy Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their right to buy operations.    
 
Position: Home Buy Officer
Rate: £28 per hour (Umbrella, Outside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (3 Months) with Possible Extension  

Job Purpose: 

• The Homebuy team is responsible for managing the Right to Buy process that allows Council tenants to buy their own homes.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Ensure the Right to Buy process is followed within the statutory timeframes.
• Administer sales process for alterations, lease extensions, collective enfranchisement, and freehold transfers.
• Administer the leasehold aftersales (LAS) process for additional space by taking payment for valuation, instructing valuations, managing appeals, and completing sales at the most optimal rate

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Home Buy Officer role or equivalent.
• Good general level of education.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
