Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in Hampshire, are looking for an experienced Fire Safety Support Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their administrative operations.    

Position: Fire Safety Support Officer
Rate: £200 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (October 2025) with Possible Extension  

Purpose:

• To support the Fire Safety Team in ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment, in respect of all the Council’s owned assets.

Job Responsibilities: 

• To ensure efficient day to day management of the Fire Safety and Building Safety email accounts, including all correspondence with Residents and other stakeholders with similar interest.
• Taking and collating of meeting minutes from all Fire Safety related meetings, including meetings with residents and/or between officers and third parties.
• Liaise with Building Safety Managers to ensure that all ‘in scope’ sites, according to the Building Safety Act, are legally compliant.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Asset Manager role or equivalent.
• Educated to minimum ‘Level 4 NVQ/SVQ, BTECH, A’ Level or equivalent, or equivalent demonstrable experience in a
  related field.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
