Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in East Midlands, are looking for an experienced Electrician to join their team and play a crucial role in their electrical maintenance operations.   

Position: Electrician
Rate: £25 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (3 Months) with Possible Extension  

Purpose:

• The purpose of the post is to provide operational housing maintenance services to enable the continuing improvement of the service to the Council’s housing stock and corporate properties.

Job Responsibilities: 

• To carry out maintenance and repair works as per works order specification.
• To undertake individual or joint electrical installation and maintenance tasks within the allocated area of work. All to be carried out in accordance with the current RAMS/SSOW.
• To complete reports/certification, order materials and or request follow on work on mobile devices.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Electrician role or equivalent.
• City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1&2 or equivalent.
• City and Guilds 2382 18th Edition.
• City and Guilds 2391 Test & Inspection or equivalent.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
