Responsibilities
Provide consultation, solutions, and product knowledge to support the sales team
Identify customer business and technical requirements to create suitable solutions
Design solutions to achieve customer business outcomes and maximize satisfaction
Present solutions to customers and prepare technical proposals with cost estimates
Stay updated on market trends to address customer needs and recommend new products/services
Build and maintain strong relationships with technology and business partners
Handover confirmed projects to post-sales team and ensure smooth transition
Retain and upsell services to existing customers
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering
Strong Cisco background; experience in VLAN and Data Center technologies is highly advantageous
Proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written) for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients, stakeholders and headquarters in Japan
Experience in liaising with Japanese counterparts and familiarity with Japanese business culture
Strong business acumen and interest in current technologies
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strong consultative skills to engage with varying levels of customer personnel
Knowledge in Cisco Data Center technologies, network security (Firewall, VPN), Cisco ISE, or Cisco WLAN is an added advantage
