We are currently recruiting for Pensions Assistant, on behalf of our client based in Hampshire. The contract for this position is on a temporary basis, initially for up to 4 Months. 

JOB DETAILS

• PAY RATE: £14p/h Umbrella
• WORK TYPE: Temporary
• WORK PATTERN: Full Time 
• LOCATION: Hampshire

• To provide the first point of contact for pension queries for staff across the council.
• Reconciliation of the monthly pension returns.
• To ensure that pension changes are processed in line with the payroll timetable whilst in a timely manner.
• Ensuring end to end payroll and pension processes are effective and efficient. 
• Maintaining accurate pay scales, allowance tables and LGPS pension links.

• Must have significant experience working in Local Government pensions.
• Experience of working in a payroll function for a large and complex organisation.
• Must have experience using ERP systems for example SAP or Oracle. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
