Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in Coalville, are looking for an experienced Repairs Chargehand to join their team and play a crucial role in their home improvement operations.       

Position: Repairs Chargehand
Rate: £26.15 per hour (Umbrella, Outside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (December 2025) with Possible Extension  

Purpose:

• This role involves overseeing and carrying out component replacement works across our housing stock, including kitchens, boilers, bathrooms, rewires, roofing, doors, and windows.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Repairs Chargehand role or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience supervising a team of operatives.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development. 

Mandatory Training & Certification:

• Working at Height
• Manual Handling
• Asbestos Awareness
• COSHH Training
