Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a School, who are looking for a Part Time Caretaker to join their team in Oxfordshire. 

Position: Caretaker           
Rate: 20,980 (Pro Rata)  
Location: Oxfordshire                     
Work Type: Permanent (Part Time)  

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include: 

• Maintain a secure, clean and safe school premises, including its buildings and grounds.
• Carry out handyperson activities, routine maintenance and refurbishment, cleaning and porterage. 
• Some supervision of cleaning staff and external contractors.
• Promote health and safety. 

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies: 

• Previous caretaking or premise management experience (ideally within a school or similar setting).
• Strong knowledge and understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Be in a fit enough condition to carry out the duties of this job.
• Able to complete tasks that involve manual handling and lifting.
