Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in South Yorkshire, are looking for an experienced Plumber to join their team and play a crucial role in their repairs, maintenance and construction operations.      

Position: Plumber
Rate: £19.95 per hour (Umbrella, Outside IR35)
Contract: Temporary (March 2026) with Possible Extension 

Purpose:

• To be able to provide a professional, quality of craftsmanship and customer orientated delivery of service to all Building Works internal and external customers.

Job Responsibilities: 

• To carry out all aspects of plumbing work on maintenance, repairs and Construction projects to Council dwellings, schools and public buildings.
• To install central heating systems, solid fuel boilers, sink units, water closets, baths, showers and wash basin.
• To liaise with other employees of various trades, tenants, managers, caretakers etc.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Plumber role or equivalent.
• NVQ level 2 in Plumbing.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
