Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in West London, are looking for an experienced Fire Safety Surveyor to join their team and play a crucial role in their fire safety surveying operations.       

Position: Data and Administration Manager
Rate: £20-25 per hour (Umbrella, Outside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (6 Months) with Possible Extension  

Purpose:

• To provide comprehensive administrative and data management support to the Senior Building Control Manager in establishing and operating Council’s statutory minimum Building Control service.

Job Responsibilities: 

• The postholder will ensure accurate record-keeping, data transfer coordination, and efficient administrative operations.
• Support and enable the transfer and integration of historic building control data. 
• Coordinate the collation, organisation, and maintenance of building control records and documentation. 
• Ensure the establishment of an effective, reliable and timely enquiries response service on building control for local residents, businesses, builders and developer with easy access to the relevant data to facilitate responses to enquiries.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Fire Safety Surveyor role or equivalent.
• Experience supporting Building Control or Planning services (Desirable).
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
