Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Housing Association in Somerset, are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Coordinator to join their team and play a crucial role in their conveyancing operations.        

Position: Conveyancing Coordinator
Pay Rate: £32,614 per annum 
Contract: Permanent 

Purpose:

• The Conveyancing Coordinator will provide conveyancing support to the Strategic Asset Management Team in relation to land & property disposals.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Assist the team in the delivery of large volume disposals of void properties and land holdings via private treaty and auction, as well as acquisitions of properties through stock transfers and private treaty.
• Provide conveyancing and project support to the teams on disposals, acquisitions and strategic reviews and help to de-risk properties and land prior to disposal.
• Instruct and liaise with professionals including solicitors, agents, valuers and lenders in respect of a disposal and other consequential land matters which may include restrictions, easements, charges, sales of surplus land, deeds of variation, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Conveyancing Coordinator role or equivalent.
• Educated to GCSE Standard (or equivalent), including English and Maths at C grade or above.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
