Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in Southwest England, are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team and play a crucial role in their ASC operations.      

Position: Senior Project Manager
Rate: £475 per day (Umbrella, Outside IR35)
Contract: Temporary (March 2025) with Possible Extension 

Purpose:

• The Adult Social Vision is for people to get the right level and type of support, at the right time to help prevent, reduce or delay the need for ongoing support, and to maximise people's independence.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Strategic review of the future of remaining in-house adult social care provider services to be completed. Proposals for changes to in-house services will be subject to full public consultation and return to Committee as appropriate before proceeding to delivery.
• Reviewing the proposed target operating model to support colleagues to optimise working practice and deliver more effective responses, first time, for those who draw on adult social care services. Take the proposed model through the business case development and planning stages to deliver the required process redesign, organisational culture and structure improvements and develop performance frameworks to embed change in every day practice.
• Develop business cases for the proposals that emerge from the evaluations and progress these through the council’s decision-making processes.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Senior Project Manager role or equivalent.
• Delivery of change within the Adult Social Care system, with an understanding of current ASC related legislation.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
