Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a local authority in Central London, are looking for an experienced HRA Finance Business Partner to join their team and play a crucial role in their financial operations. 

Position: Finance Business Partner (HRA)
Rate: £43 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: 3 months with possible extension

Key Responsibilities:

• To act as a Finance Business Partner for a defined service providing high level financial advice and support to the Directors / Assistant Directors and their Heads of Service.
• To provide advice and support regarding the financial aspects of local systems. To ensure processes and procedures are robust, confirm to best professional practice and provide value for money.
• To work collaboratively with Directors and Heads of Service in their departments and to members to ensure an integral part of decision making and a key player in all major pieces of work and projects e.g. procurement exercises, staffing restructures, service re-design.
• To undertake financial appraisals of planned service changes, identifying any significant financial implications.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 2 years’ experience within a Finance Business Partner role or equivalent.
• Must hold a relevant degree or have significant relevant experience. 
• Must be CCAB qualified with evidence of Continuing Professional Development. 
• Experienced HRA accountant with HRA Business Planning experience and knowledge of rent setting and rent accounting systems.
