Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in South London, are looking for a Parking Enforcement Manger to join their Civil Enforcement / Regulatory Operations.

Job Role: Parking Enforcement Manager
Contract: 6 Months
Location: South London
Rate of Pay: £30.20 p/h umbrella

Main duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision, and performance management of Parking Enforcement staff, ensuring effective deployment and productivity.
• Plan, allocate, and adjust staffing resources, including beat deployment and rota management, to meet operational enforcement hours and service demands.
• Support the financial management of the service by assisting with budget planning, monitoring expenditure, and implementing corrective actions to meet targets.
• Monitor the volume and quality of Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) issued, ensuring compliance with standards and reporting regularly on performance metrics.
• Identify staff training and development needs; design, organise, and deliver training programmes to maintain high service standards.
• Ensure compliance with all administrative, financial, and HR policies, procedures, and systems within the directorate.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience in managing staff within a parking enforcement or similar regulatory environment.
• Strong organisational skills with experience in rota planning and resource deployment.
• Experience in performance monitoring, reporting, and service improvement.
• Knowledge of parking regulations, enforcement processes, and local authority procedures.
• Ability to manage budgets and contribute to financial planning.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Competence in using IT systems and data management tools.
