Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in West London, are looking for an experienced Executive Support Officer to join their team and play a crucial role within their operations.  

Position: Executive Support Officer
Rate: £30 per hour (Umbrella, Outside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (May 2026) Possible Extension  

Job Purpose: 

• The Executive Support Officer will provide confidential and professional support to the Director of Housing on a daily basis to discharge responsibilities effectively

Job Duties: 

• Provide confidential and professional support to the Director of Housing.
• Act as a first point of contact for residents, members, the Housing Senior Leaders Team and partner organisations, providing excellent customer service.
• Provide comprehensive inbox management for the Director of Housing, assessing, triaging and fulfilling enquiries as directed in an efficient and effective manner.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• Experience within a Executive Support Officer role or equivalent.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ensuring a measured and considered approach is adopted.
• Have good or advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an evidenced ability to become familiar with Council systems.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
