Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in Hampshire, are looking for an experienced Head of Public Protection to join their team and play a crucial role within their public protection operations.        

Position: Head of Public Protection
Rate: £650 per day (Umbrella, Outside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (6 Months) Possible Extension  

Job Purpose: 

• Providing leadership within Environmental Health, Port Health, Trading Standards and Licensing services. 

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• Experience within a Head of Public Protection role or equivalent.
• Significant senior management experience within Public Protection or a related regulatory environment.
• Strong understanding of the legislative and regulatory framework governing Environmental Health, Port Health, Trading Standards and Licensing.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
