Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in Central London, are looking for an experienced Parking Compliance Officer to join their team and play a crucial role within their parking and traffic management operations.        

Position: Parking Compliance Officer
Rate: £25 per hour (Umbrella, Outside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (April 2026) Possible Extension  

Job Purpose: 

• To ensure that all parking enforcement road markings and associated signage are maintained to a high standard, compliant with Traffic Management Orders and relevant legislation.

Job Duties: 

• The post holder will inspect on-street infrastructure, manage and monitor contractors and maintenance teams, supervise works programmes and provide professional advice and reports to support effective parking enforcement across the Borough.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• Experience within a Parking Compliance Officer role or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of parking legislation, including the Road Traffic Act and TSRGD.
• Ability to interpret Traffic Management Orders, maps and digital mapping systems.
• Full clean manual driving licence
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
