Job Role: Senior Applications Developer
Temporary or Permanent: Temp
Possible End Date: March 2026  (Possible Extension)

Location: Essex
Office Based/Hybrid: TBC
Rate of Pay (Umbrella and Inside IR35): £500 per day


Main duties/Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy RPA workflows using Microsoft Power Automate (Desktop and Cloud).
• Collaborate with ECC’s RPA and AI programme and stakeholders to identify and prioritise automation opportunities.
• Integrate AI capabilities with RPA to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Support and guide ECC’s internal developers to build long-term capability.
• Ensure all automations comply with governance, security, and performance standards.
• Provide ongoing optimisation and support for deployed automations.

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 years experience working as a Senior Applications Developer or equivalent 
• Educated to Degree Level or equivalent by experience in a relevant subject.
• Hold relevant Microsoft certifications such as PL-100: Power Platform App Maker, PL-200: Power Platform Functional Consultant, PL-400: Power Platform Developer.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Power Automate, including Desktop flows.
• In-depth knowledge of RPA concepts, frameworks, and best practices.
• Proven ability to design, build, and deploy automations into live environments.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with connectors, APIs, and data integration for end-to-end automation.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities with RPA for advanced automation scenarios.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and mentor junior developers.
