Rate of Pay (Umbrella and Inside IR35): Negotiable

Main Duties/Responsibilities

• Undertake site reactive repairs and maintenance duties serving as a first point of contact for customers and working in accordance with local and legislative procedures.
• Identify and report any potential maintenance issues which require specialist or contractor attendance to ensure a safe environment is maintained
• Undertake planned routine works in accordance with site requirements and within relevant regulatory frameworks providing accurate and timely information on progress and advice that is easily understood.
• Assist in undertaking building checks and audits to ensure safe and secure environments for all stakeholders, ensuring compliance with health and safety and emergency procedures and regulations.
• Maintain stock levels to ensure cost effectiveness and availability of supplies and equipment.
• Deliver high quality customer service that meets the changing needs of the business and escalating any shortfalls in service delivery to senior colleagues to ensure they are dealt with appropriately.

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 years experience working as a Caretaker or equivalent
• Some experience of undertaking a similar role or completing similar tasks
• Practical skill in identifying and /or carrying out repairs
• Practical experience in operating hand tools and light machinery
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
