Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Braintree. Are looking for a IT Project Manager to join their organisation.

Job Role: IT Project Manager
Temporary or Permanent: Temp part time (3 days per week)
Possible End Date: 2 – 3 months (Possible Extension)
Number of Positions: 1
Location: Braintree
Office Based/Hybrid: 2 days on site 1 day at home
Rate of Pay (Umbrella and Inside IR35): £350 per day

Main Duties/Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and project documentation including highlight reports, exception reports and change controls
• Manage budgets, procurement processes, supplier and stakeholder relationships
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including technical staff, stakeholders, and external partners, to ensure successful project outcomes
• Oversee risk management, change control, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure projects adhere to data protection, cybersecurity, and GDPR requirements
• Local government experience

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 years experience working as an IT Project Manager or equivalent
