Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in West of Essex, are looking for an experienced Complaints Officer to join their team and play a crucial role within their complaints processing operations.        

Position: Complaints Officer
Rate: £130 per day (Umbrella, Outside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (6 Months) Possible Extension  
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days a week)

Job Purpose:

Job Duties: 

• Log and formally acknowledge resident complaints in line with council procedures.
• Thoroughly investigate complaints by reviewing case histories and liaising with relevant teams to reach fair and informed decisions.
• Conduct detailed root-cause analysis to help the council learn from mistakes and identify opportunities to improve our services.
• Engage with complainants to ensure a clear understanding of the issue and their desired resolution.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• Experience within a Complaints Officer role or equivalent.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
