Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Local Authority, who are looking to recruit an experienced Safeguarding Adults Board Manager  to join their team based in London 
   
JOB DETAILS
PAY RATE: £42 -£44 (Dependent on experience)
WORK TYPE: Temporary 
WORK PATTERN: Full Time
LOCATION: London 
   
JOB SUMMARY
The Safeguarding Adults Board Manager will lead and coordinate the work of the Merton Safeguarding Adults Board (MSAB), ensuring effective partnership working, statutory compliance, and high-quality safeguarding practice across the borough
  
JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Providing strategic leadership and management for the Safeguarding Adults Board.
• Overseeing the development, delivery, and review of the Board’s strategic plan.
• Coordinating and quality-assuring Safeguarding Adults Reviews (SARs).
• Facilitating partnership engagement across agencies to ensure effective safeguarding arrangements.
• Managing Board subgroups and ensuring statutory responsibilities are met.
• Leading and supporting a small team to drive improvement in adult safeguarding practice.
• Attending the office 3 days per week with 2 days remote working.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Demonstrable team-management level experience within a Safeguarding Adults team or Safeguarding Adults Board.
• Strong knowledge of statutory safeguarding responsibilities and multi-agency working.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and partnership-building skills.
• Ability to lead, influence, and drive improvement across diverse organisations.
