Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in East London, are looking for an experienced Fire Safety Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their fire safety planning operations.    

Position: Fire Safety Officer
Rate: £400 per day (Umbrella, Outside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (3 Months) with Possible Extension  


Job Responsibilities: 

• Quality Assurance of third party FRAs.
• Street Property FRAs.
• Assisting with residential PEEPs.
• Technical fire safety lead for blocks within their patch.
• Supporting Building Safety Managers in preparing safety case reports.
• Regular fire safety inspections of medium rise blocks.
• Post fire investigations.
• Assisting LFB on audits.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Fire Safety Officer role or equivalent.
• Minimum L4 certificate or equivalent.
• Membership of a professional fire safety body (e.g., IFSM, IFE).
• Experience within the housing sector.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
