Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a FE College who are looking to recruit a Carpentry Lecturer to permanently join their team based in the South East London area.
  
JOB DETAILS:

• PAY RATE: £29,303 - £36,034
• WORK TYPE: Permanent
• WORK PATTERN: Full Time 
• LOCATION: South East London

JOB SUMMARY:
The purpose of this role is to work alongside other members of the team to provide a caring and educational environment in which students will learn. The right candidate will join their team to teach students Carpentry up to A-Level/T-Level.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• To plan and deliver consistently excellent Carpentry lessons.
• To be enthusiastic and engaging within their classroom practice.
• Raising the attainment of students and promoting good practice within Carpentry.
• To be inspiring and creative in their approach to teaching and learning.
• To maintain an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of developments within your subject specialism.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Possess a recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, DTTLS, PTTLS, DET) and evidence of continued professional development.
• Degree or equivalent.
• Relevant specialist qualifications and experience in your subject specialism with the ability to teach up to A-level/T-Level
• An enhanced DBS check is required
