Are you an experienced Senior Social Worker looking for your next challenge? Our client is looking for a skilled practitioner to join its Family Support and Safeguarding Service.

Position: Senior Social Worker – Family Support and Safeguarding
Rate: London Pledge Capped Rates 
Contract Duration: 3 months initially 
Location: East London

Purpose of the Role

To provide social work support to children and families, with a focus on safeguarding, assessing needs and helping achieve positive outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with children and families to assess needs and identify risks.
• Support safeguarding planning and interventions.
• Work with partner agencies and other professionals.
• Maintain clear records and contribute to effective case planning.

Job Requirements

• Relevant social work qualification and registration.
• Experience in children's social care and safeguarding.
• Ability to assess risk and work with children and families.
• Strong communication, recording and multi-agency working skills.
