• PAY RATE: £48,000-£55,000
• WORK TYPE: Permanent

JOB ROLE
Join our new therapeutic childcare setting in the Gateshead area! Flexible with shifts covering 7 days a week day and night.


JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Maintain a firm, caring, consistent, and well-ordered working environment.
• Accompanying children and young people on recreational activities and demonstrating positive role modelling.
• Ensuring healthcare needs of the children and young people are met, including making appointments and accompanying them and completing written reports
• To report immediately to senior management any noticeable changes in health, behaviour or circumstances of our children and young people

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Residential support Environment of at least 1 year
• Level 5 Diploma of residential childcare
• Knowledge of the Children Act and Children's Homes Regulation
• Driving licence required
