Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a local authority in Bedfordshire, are looking for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join their team and play a crucial role in their financial operations.  

Position: Senior Management Accountant
Location: Bedfordshire
Contract: 3 months (Possible Extension)
Rate: £650 a day (Umbrella)

Duties:

• Leading the team delivering financial advice and support to the Chief Executives, Resources and Public Health Directorates.
• Leading on Budget monitoring, budget setting, year end processes and all other financial advice and support.

Job Requirements:

• Must be qualified CCAB or equivalent (preferably CIPFA).
• Previous experience of working within a local government environment or a similar organisation.
• Demonstrable experience of budget planning and management, financial reporting and monitoring.
• Ability to analyse and interpret complex financial data and legislation.
• Significant experience of operating at a senior management level with evidence of driving solution based, responsive and customer focused services for residents.
