Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in South London, are looking for an experienced Wellbeing and Maintenance Assistant to join their team and play a crucial role in their housing Services operations.  

Position: Wellbeing and Maintenance Assistant
Rate: £18.48 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (9 Months) Potential to go Permanent 

Purpose:

• To ensure the client are meeting their landlord obligations in relation to Health and Safety and other areas of compliance, repairs, estate services and maintenance within our Older Persons Independent Living accommodation.
• Providing a safe and well managed living environment for our residents.
• To undertake in agreement with residents’ wellbeing checks to enable residents to sustain and maintain their homes and remain within their community.

Key Responsibilities:

• To be the first point of contact for residents, customers, their families and other professionals delivering and/or receiving services in relation our older persons accommodation.
• To be proactive in maintaining excellent relationships with residents via letters, face to face visits, and telephone calls to enable customer satisfaction with the services provided in line with our Customer Service standards.
• To ensure the delivery of excellent customer service, to all residents in our supported and older persons accommodation including a small number of shared owners and other external partners, stakeholders or professionals that you come into contact with.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Wellbeing and Maintenance Assistant role or equivalent.
• Have experience of engaging with residents to sustain their homes.
• A customer focused individual, you should have experience of delivering a high standard of customer services.
• Experience and or understanding of safeguarding process.
