Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in South Yorkshire, are looking for an experienced Project Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their children services operations. 

Position: Project Officer
Rate: £17.79 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35) 
Contract Duration: Temporary (March 2025) with Possible Extension
Working Pattern: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

• To assist in the management of projects in relation to the children's services including, practice improvement, performance, quality, strategy and service development aimed at improving the welfare or wellbeing of children and families , ensuring successful gathering and delivery of all requirements.
• Assist with project management, co-ordinating resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Provide advice and guidance in relation to projects, with consideration for the complex requirements of people-related issues, assisting in ensuring that key milestones and information are communicated to internal and external stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Project Officer role or equivalent.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Relevant Project/Programme Management Training OR substantial demonstrable experience working in a project management environment.
