Position: Regeneration Manager
Rate: £34.94 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Hours: 22.50
Contract Duration: Temporary October (2025) with Possible Extension 

Purpose:

The Council is seeking an experienced Regeneration Manager to lead transformational urban development projects in the heart of the city. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage large-scale regeneration projects from inception to completion
• Oversee a team of project managers and officers, ensuring successful delivery within time, budget, and quality standards
• Engage with local communities, developers, housing associations, and public sector partners to drive inclusive urban growth
• Lead negotiations with multiple stakeholders, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives
• Manage project budgets and procurement processes in line with best value principles
• Ensure effective contract management and compliance with legal, financial, and procurement policies
• Monitor and report project progress to senior officers, elected members, and external partners

• Proven track record in regeneration, development, or infrastructure within a local authority or related organisation
• Experience delivering major regeneration projects in complex urban environments
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams
• Expertise in community engagement, stakeholder management, and negotiation
• Strong financial and project management skills, including procurement and contract management
• Degree or equivalent professional experience in regeneration, development, housing, construction, or project managements that have the specific skills and experiences required for this role will be shortlisted and submitted to our client for review.
