Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Construction Company, who are looking for an Assistant Planner to join their team based in Essex. 

Position: Assistant Planner              
Rate: £35,000 - £38,000   
Location: Essex                    
Work Type: Permanent 

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include: 

• Support project planning activities by developing, maintaining and updating project schedules. 
• Track progress of projects, providing detailed reports to team including key project milestones and changes to critical path. 
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. 
• Analyse project data, reporting any further findings. 

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Previous background experience within project planning and coordination. 
• Strong knowledge of construction industry terminologies and practises.  
• Construction Management or Engineering degree (other related fields also accepted). 
• Proficient with Microsoft and Project Management software.
