Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Hammersmith, are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to join their organisation.

Position: Contract Manager
Location: Hammersmith 
Salary: £300 a day umbrella
Office Based/Hybrid: 4 days on site
Contract: 3 months (possible extension)
Driving Licence Required: Yes

Purpose:
To monitor the estates cleaning and ground maintenance contracts. You will also need to be able to advise and support customers in resolving their concerns whilst helping design and provide solutions to improve the delivery of estate services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team who are responsible for investigating and responding to enquiries and complaints, liaising with residents to address their concerns as well as checking and improving the flow of complaints from a customer perspective.
  
• Regularly attend formal and informal meetings including outside standard working hours, for example taking part in resident surgeries tenant and resident association meetings on estates, area and borough forums and other meeting that arise from the Council’s resident involvement strategy.
• Hold regular monthly contract performance meetings and monitor against SLA agreements and KPI requirements.
• To ensure the effective contract management of the two estate services contracts for cleaning and grounds maintenance.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 2 years experience within a Contract Manager role or equivalent.
• A current driving licence with access to a vehicle for business use and/or a willingness to use the organisation's vehicles.
• Ability to hold responsibility for performance management, KPI’s and managing a dispersed workforce ensuring staff accountability.
• Ability to identify and analyse problematic issues, and to devise and take appropriate remedial action to improve and maintain excellent standards.
