Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Northwest London, are looking for an experienced
Repairs Technical Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their repairs operations.   

Position: Repairs Technical Officer
Rate: £19 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (3 Months) with Possible Extension 

Purpose:

• The post holder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the repairs service to the Council Housing stock.

Key Responsibilities: 

• There are specialisms within the post to include responsive repairs, mechanical and electrical services & voids. 
• The role will involve raising orders for repair, voids and M&E works, progress chasing of jobs, liaison with contractors and customers as well as undertaking scrutiny of repair orders against invoices submitted to ensure that appropriate levels of governance are in place and keeping accurate records of safety certificates etc.
• Working closely with Contract Surveyors the post holder will strive to ensure repair standards are consistently met; costs are scrutinised and appropriate action taken to address all concerns.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Repairs Technical Officer role or equivalent.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
