Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Local Authority, who are looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Team Manager to join their team based in Hampshire

PAY RATE: £32 - £40 per hour  
WORK TYPE: Temporary

JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Team Manager will be working in the Adults Intermediate Care Team, assessing people who have been discharged from the acute hospital with short term service. 
  
JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• The Assistant Team Manager will work alongside the permanent ATMs supporting the Team Manager and providing day to day operational management to the team, including attending MDTs, providing monthly supervisions and informal supervision as needed to staff including locums and ensuring legislation and policy is adhered to and expected time frames are met
• It is a a fast paced, responsive service that that requires in depth knowledge of legislation and frameworks including the CHC framework.

  
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Demonstrable post qualification experience of working in a statutory Social Care or Health setting with adults
• Experience of managing and motivating staff including providing professional supervision and day to day management of a team
• Experience of working in partnership with Health, voluntary agencies and private providers and to contribute to the development of joint initiatives
