Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Southern England, are looking for an experienced Building Labourer for a Southern England.

Position: Building Labourer
Rate: £15.69 per Hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary 6 weeks

Job Purpose:

To assist in carrying out repairs, maintenance, general cleaning services, waste disposal, and recycling at Sovereign properties in accordance with regulatory requirements, prescribed work schedules, and Sovereign’s established standard policies and procedures for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Reasonability's:

• Work within clearly defined processes to meet time frames set by the line manager, ensuring accountability for individual results and understanding the impact of actions on Sovereign's operations.
• Assist in general maintenance tasks, including working at height, use of access equipment, and drainage clearance to meet prescribed schedules.
• Identify defects based on reported issues, assess the scope, consult as needed, and take corrective action. Communicate promptly with internal and external customers about progress and actions taken.
• Collect and distribute necessary materials and equipment to complete tasks, ensuring all plant and tools are maintained and kept in clean order.

• Scaffold awareness training (preferred).
• Ability to assist in lifting and carrying materials.
• Familiarity with footing ladders and basic roofing tasks.
• Good physical fitness and ability to work in various weather condition.
