Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Practice Accountancy, who are looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to join their team based in Manchester. 

Position: Senior Bookkeeper

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include: 

• Manage client queries whilst playing a big part in the preparation of accounts such as, but not limited to, VAT.
• Report to Senior Managers, contributing to meetings and making sure any suggestions are put forward. 
• Plan client compliance work whilst adhering to tight deadlines. 
• Assist in managing a team, supporting their development through training and guidance.
• Deal with external organisations such as HMRC. 

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies: 

• Minimum two years previous experience working with a Practice Accountancy. 
• AAT qualified or ACCA part qualified. 
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounts preparation. 
• Confident in dealing with clients and using IT.
