Work schedule: 12 hours/day – 6/7 days a week (Based on client requirements)
 
Position Overview:
 
The Shutdown Non-Metallic Inspector (FRP) will be responsible for inspecting and ensuring the quality and integrity of non-metallic materials, specifically Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP), during shutdown periods. This role requires extensive experience in non-metallic inspection, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of non-metallic materials, specifically FRP, during shutdown periods to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards related to non-metallic materials and installations.
• Perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) inspections on various non-metallic components.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients to address any quality issues or non-conformances.
• Monitor and verify the quality of non-metallic materials and workmanship.
• Conduct pre-inspection meetings and provide guidance to project teams.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and findings.
• Participate in audits and assessments as required.

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in non-metallic inspection within the oil and gas industry.
• Prior shutdown experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and specifications related to non-metallic materials, specifically FRP.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
