Hiring an experienced Corrosion Engineer with expertise in corrosion management and in-service inspection.
Position: Corrosion Engineer
Location: Qatar
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering or Materials & Corrosion Technology
- 15+ years of corrosion management experience in oil refineries or petrochemical plants
- 6-8 years of experience in a similar position after obtaining certification
- Experience with Meridium Asset Performance Management (APM) software
- Strong in-service inspection experience in the Oil Refining / Petrochemical industry
- Construction experience will not be considered
Mandatory Certifications:
- NACE Senior Corrosion Technologist
- NACE CP2 — obtained 6-8 years ago and currently valid
Preferred:
- API 510, API 570, API 653 — obtained at least 4 years ago and currently valid
Expertise in corrosion control, cathodic protection, NDT, risk analysis, thickness monitoring, process safety, risk assessment, engineering controls, and welding is required.
