Position: QC Welding / NDE Inspector
Location: China
Duration: Long term
 
Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of work experience in Oil and Gas Industry in Inspection activities
• Bachelors degree or Diploma in relevant discipline
• CSWIP 3.1 OR AWS CWI
• NDT Level 2 in RT & UT as a minimum

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Supervise all welding and NDT activities at the fabrication yard, ensuring compliance with approved WPS/PQRs and applicable codes (ASME B31.3, AWS D1.1, EN 13480).
• Verify welder qualifications, consumables control, preheat requirements, and welding documentation (weld maps, weld logs).
• Witness NDT execution and review results for acceptance; coordinate with the NDT subcontractor.
• Participate in ITP hold points and quality review meetings.
• Issue welding/NDT inspection reports and corrective action recommendations.
