Position Summary
TÜV Rheinland is seeking highly skilled and certified Advanced NDT (ANDT) Operators to support critical inspection projects for our end-client, Saudi Aramco.
 
This role requires qualified inspection professionals specializing in Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT), Short Wave Ultrasonic Testing (SWC), or Tank Magnetic Flux Leakage (Tank MFL).
 
It is preferred to hold active, verifiable Saudi Aramco approvals (not compulsory) and possess a proven track record of maintaining strict compliance with Aramco engineering standards (SAES), international NDT codes, and site safety protocols.
 
 
 
Key Responsibilities

• Perform Advanced NDT inspections (PAUT, SWC, or Tank MFL) in strict compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, project specifications, and safety procedures.
• Calibrate, maintain, and operate specialized ANDT equipment and probes.
• Interpret, evaluate, and record inspection results, producing accurate and timely technical reports.
• Identify, document, and report material defects or structural inconsistencies to site management.
• Ensure all field operations adhere to company and client Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
• Collaborate directly with Aramco proponent engineers and quality managers to communicate critical inspection findings and potential integrity risks.

 
 
Open Specializations & Minimum Qualifications
 
1. PAUT Operator (Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing)

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on field experience in PAUT inspection within oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy industrial facilities.
• Good to have a valid, active Saudi Aramco Approval Card / SAP ID specifically for PAUT. (Not Compulsory for job application)

2. SWC Operator (Short Wave Ultrasonic / Shear Wave)

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on field experience performing SWC inspections.
• Good to have, active Saudi Aramco Approval Card / SAP ID specifically for SWC.(Not Compulsory for job application)

3. Tank MFL Operator (Magnetic Flux Leakage - Tank Bottom)

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on field experience in Tank MFL inspection on aboveground storage tank bottoms.
• Good to have , active Saudi Aramco Approval Card / SAP ID specifically for Tank MFL. (Not Compulsory for job application)

 
General Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Quality Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Valid ISO 9712, PCN, or ASNT Level II certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) / Advanced NDT techniques.
• Practical working knowledge of ASME Section V, ASME B31.3, API 650/653 (for Tank MFL), SAES, and SAMSS standards.
