Position Summary
TÜV Rheinland is urgently seeking a highly qualified NDT Level III Engineer for immediate deployment to Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, supporting critical Saudi Aramco operations.
This key leadership role requires an experienced professional to manage NDT procedure development, technical oversight, and compliance across conventional and advanced NDT methods. The candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and approving company/contractor NDT procedures and work instructions to ensure full alignment with Saudi Aramco standards and governing international codes.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Procedure Development & Approval: Write, review, approve, and maintain NDT procedures, techniques, and work instructions in strict compliance with Saudi Aramco standards (SAES/SAMSS) and international codes (ASME, AWS, ASTM, API).
• Technical Quality Oversight: Serve as the technical authority for Non-Destructive Testing operations across field sites, ensuring method selection, execution, and safety parameters meet client requirements.
• Interpretation & Audit: Conduct Radiographic Film Interpretation (RTFI) and conduct technical audits of NDT operations, equipment calibration, and testing data.
• Advanced NDT Guidance: Oversee and advise on Advanced NDT (ANDT) techniques, ensuring proper calibration and deployment of technologies including PAUT, MFL, and ECT.
• Client & Contractor Liaison: Represent TÜV Rheinland in technical discussions with Saudi Aramco proponent engineers and contractor representatives regarding inspection compliance and defect resolutions.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements

• NDT Level III Certification: Active Level III certification (ASNT / ISO 9712 / PCN) in at least PT, MT, UT, and RT (certification across all conventional NDT methods is highly preferred).
• Radiographic Interpretation: Valid certification in RT Interpretation (RTFI). (preferred but not compulsory to apply for this role)
• Total Experience: Minimum 10 years of hands-on and supervisory NDT experience within the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical sector.
• Advanced NDT Proficiency: Solid, practical experience with Advanced NDT methods, including PAUT, MFL, and ECT.
• Standards & Codes: In-depth working knowledge of Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES) and international codes (ASME Section V & VIII, API 650/653, AWS D1.1, ASTM).
• Mobilization Status: Ready for immediate mobilization to Yanbu. Valid Iqama with transferable status or immediate visa availability.
