Job Title: Assistant Inspector- Environmental inspections/ Auditing
Department: Environmental Compliance & Inspection
Location: Various locations across Saudi Arabia, covering the Eastern, Western, Northern, Central, and Southern Regions, including Saudi PPP project sites.

Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Inspector to support our environmental compliance field operations. In this role, you will be responsible for leading inspections for Category 1 activities, conducting site visits for establishment permitting, and drafting corresponding Site Inspection Reports. Additionally, you will work directly under Chief Inspectors to support field audits, data collection, and monitoring for Category 2 and 3 projects and polluted sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Category 1 & Permitting Inspections: Conduct standalone environmental inspections for Category 1 facilities and support site visits required for environmental permitting.
- Chief Inspector Support: Assist Chief Inspectors during complex inspections for Category 2 and 3 facilities, major industrial developments, and polluted sites.
- Field Sampling & Equipment Operation: Operate environmental inspection equipment, collect field samples, and gather technical data/evidence in accordance with regulatory protocols.
- Reporting: Draft and compile technical Site Inspection Reports and support team documentation workflows.
Qualifications & Education - Bachelor's or Master's Degree (or equivalent) in one of the following fields:
- Environmental Engineering / Environmental Sciences / Environmental Impact Assessment
- Chemical Engineering / Chemistry (all sub-branches)
- Biology (all sub-branches)
- Earth & Geo-Sciences / Geological Engineering
Experience & Skills Required - Experience:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in environmental inspections and/or environmental auditing.
- Technical Skills & Competencies:
- Language: Professional fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken) is required.
- Hands-on ability to operate and handle field inspection and sampling equipment.
- Practical knowledge of environmental monitoring, data collection, and field-testing techniques.
- Strong technical report writing skills and high attention to evidence gathering.
