Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Barking. Are looking for a OD Transformation Lead (Neighbourhoods) to join their organisation.

Job Role: OD Transformation Lead (Neighbourhoods)
Temporary or Permanent: Temp
Possible End Date: (3-6 months possible extension)
Number of Positions: 1 position
Location: Barking
Office Based/Hybrid: TBC
Rate of Pay: £85 p/h umbrella inside IR35
Pay Negotiable: TBC

To lead the strategic design and delivery of the organisational development and culture change agenda enabling whole-systems transformation through the Neighbourhoods Programme and Transformation Framework. This role will shape the future workforce skills, embed new ways of working, and build leadership capability to deliver sustainable resident centred services.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

• Position OD as a strategic enabler to deliver the transformation and neighbourhood programme.
• Drive a culture shift from siloed service delivery, to proactive, integrated, preventative and community/partnership led models.
• Ensure high standards of records management and assume responsibility for all information assigned to the post.
• Promote the development of a high-quality individual need led service, to comply at all times with the Council’s policies and procedures, particularly those regarding Data Protection, Equalities and Diversity and Health and Safety.
• Develop and deliver the Change Management & Engagement Plan, ensuring inclusive, transparent delivery.
• Design new ways of working clarifying roles, accountability and embedding behavioural change.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent in OD, HR, Psychology, or related field.
    
• Professional accreditation in OD, coaching or change or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record of leading OD strategies in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Expertise in designing and delivering leadership development, change management and employee engagement programmes.
• Professional knowledge and understanding of EDI. And track record of positioning EDI as a strategic driver of transformation.
